Honolulu Waterspouts starter Andy Rodriguez had all his pitches working at Radio Shack Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 8-1 Honolulu win over the Albuquerque Turkeys. The winning pitcher was Rodriguez, now 5-3. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7. Tony Sanchez, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 2nd save.

Erik Carnes helped out the Honolulu cause in the top of the first inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3 with a walk.

"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Rodriguez told reporters after the game.

Honolulu is in second place in the United League West Division with a record of 29-35.
