Cheesepressers Roll Over Outlaws, 10-2
|
A 4-RBI performance from Tatsumi Irie, who is tied for 5th in the UL in triples with 4, helped the Toledo Cheesepressers beat the Albany Outlaws, 10-2. Alonzo Galindo, credited with the save, is now 2 for 2 in save opportunities. The second-place Cheesepressers are now 37-28, the Outlaws 38-27.
Irie provided the big break for the Cheesepressers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double, helping Toledo to get the win.
"We were firing on all cylinders today," said Cheesepressers manager Matt Perrone.
