Hullabaloo Pull Off Thrilling Win in Extras
The Hullabaloo grabbed a win, 5-2, at Labatt Blue Field, overcoming a fine effort from Saskatoon pitcher Justin Johnson. Johnson went 8 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Kalamazoo reliever Lemsik Bejanian picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. Jamie Schmidt absorbed the loss. The Hullabaloo go to 80-64, putting them second in the United League Central Division.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out, Matt McGrogan hit a first pitch sinker from Jamie Schmidt for a 3-run home run. It put Kalamazoo in front, 4-1.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," McGrogan said after the game.
