Graybirds Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
In a close game at Coconuts Park, the Reno Graybirds edged the Honolulu Waterspouts, 3-2. Reno catcher Dustin Murphy earned the nod as player of the game. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Picking up the save was Dan Sheffield, his 35th. The 'W' lifts Reno's record to 76-69.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With one out, Chris Williams hit a 2-2 curveball from Ismael Jimenez for a run-scoring single. It put Reno in front, 3-2.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Murphy said after the game.
