Waterspouts Raise Rally Flag, Beat Reno, 2-1
Fans who gathered at Coconuts Park saw a good contest between the Honolulu Waterspouts and Reno Graybirds.

The Honolulu Waterspouts scored a 2-1 win versus the Reno Graybirds at Coconuts Park. Honolulu pitcher Nazir Bruton nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Honolulu, at 86-59, sits in second place in the United League West Division.

Had Travis Arnall not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Arnall hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Waterspouts.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Waterspouts manager Claribette Del Rosario, "I like our chances."
