The Wichita Warlocks got a strong performance from pitcher Justin Sanders, who stymied the Kalamazoo offense en route to a 2-1 win at The Zoo. Alex Garcia recorded the save for Wichita, his 1st of the season. Wichita is now 93-53. Kalamazoo is 85-62.

This game went down to the wire. In the top of the tenth, Harry Cornelius had a big at-bat. With no one out, the Wichita shortstop hit a sacrifice fly, to put his team up, 1-0.

Cornelius told a Wichita Observer reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
