Multi-HR Game for Duron in 18-7 Win
The Honolulu Waterspouts and Saskatoon Platoon brought some excitement to Labatt Blue Field.

The Saskatoon Platoon beat the Honolulu Waterspouts, 18-7, at Labatt Blue Field. The Platoon got a fine performance from catcher Ed Duron, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 3 with 2 home runs, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs and drove in 6. Saskatoon is now 64-84, Honolulu 85-63.

One important at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the seventh inning. Facing Honolulu hurler Michael Antosz, Tim Penton, who is a eight-time All-Star, hit a single. The Platoon went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Penton said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
