Lynn Helps Waterspouts Beat Graybirds
|
The Honolulu Waterspouts downed the Reno Graybirds, 5-3, at Harris Interactive Arena. The Waterspouts were led by Mike Lynn, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. At 74-77, Honolulu is in third place in the United League West Division.
The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With no one out, Pyeong-min Lee hit a 0-2 fastball from Tony Alfaro for a 2-run home run. It put Honolulu in front, 5-3.
"This was a good win," said Lee.
