Scott Griffith did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo from losing, 5-4, to the Tucson Fighting Beetles at Kmart Park. Griffith went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Today's win puts Tucson at 69-83, while Kalamazoo falls to 95-57.

The game came to an abrupt end with one out in the bottom of the tenth. On a pitch from Art Bychyk, Matt Riley drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It gave Tucson the 5-4 walk-off win.

"I was a little disappointed," said Kalamazoo manager Jason Eberle. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
