Cheesepressers Get Road Win, 8-7
Both teams had their chances, but the Toledo Cheesepressers eventually prevailed at Fallow Field.

Corpus Christi left fielder Michael Mizerak pounded Toledo Cheesepressers pitchers at Fallow Field, but it was not enough to keep the Kingfishers from falling, 8-7. Mizerak went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Alvin Biter picked up the save for Toledo, his 43rd of the year.

Tied up with the Kingfishers in the top of the fourth inning, the Cheesepressers got a boost from center fielder Tatsumi Irie. With a runner on 1st, Irie saw a first pitch cutter from Chris Nielsen and hit a 2-run home run to break the stalemate and put Toledo on top, 6-4.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Irie told the Toledo Observer.

The win puts the Cheesepressers at 98-55, while the Kingfishers drop to 59-94.
