|
Starting pitcher Jamar Roy pitched well enough to help the Little Rock Mighty Cocks beat the Toledo Cheesepressers by the score of 5-3. The winning pitcher was Roy, now 8-13. He tossed 5 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 4. The Mighty Cocks improve their record to 90-64 with the win over Toledo.
Alex Molano, who is tied for 6th in the UL in triples with 9, aided the Little Rock cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder was 1-3 with a double.
