Mighty Cocks Come Up Short at Toledo
The Toledo Cheesepressers did just enough to secure a 4-3 victory over the Little Rock Mighty Cocks at Velveeta Field. Nobody did more than pitcher T.J. Street, who captured player of the game honors. Toledo is 94-60 and Little Rock, with the loss, 90-65.

Bobby Ware, who is tied for 7th in the UL in extra base hits with 66, helped out the Toledo cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 3.

Little Rock manager John Moore said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
