It wasn't easy but Sam Sellers made it look that way.

Sellers silenced the Honolulu Waterspouts, 1-0, in a Boise Idahosies triumph at Best Western Dome today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Sellers said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up no walks and 9 hits.

"It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."

In 30 starts this year Sellers has fashioned a 8-14 record and a 4.00 ERA.
