Kalamazoo Hot Streak Continues with 2-1 Win
|
Neil Moss pitched a gem to lead Kalamazoo to a 2-1 victory over the Des Moines Pharaohs. Moss picked up the win for Kalamazoo, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 14-7. The save was credited to Devon Pavese, his 21st.
Jason McKenna drove in one run for Kalamazoo. The 25-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Pete Poff. It was his 31st RBI of the season.
"We found a way to get it done," Moss said.
The current losing streak for Des Moines has reached 7 games.
