Kalamazoo Breaks Through for First Win in Division Series; Now Trails 2-1
|
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Wichita Warlocks, winning 4-3 at The Zoo today. Hullabaloo left-hander Neil Moss was named player of the game after he threw 8 innings of 7-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Hullabaloo to 2-1 in the best-of-5 Division Series.
Jason Brown had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the seventh for the Hullabaloo. Coming up with the bases loaded and Kalamazoo trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.
"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Wichita manager Phil Romano said following the tough loss.
The next game is set to be played on Monday, October 16th, 2017 at The Zoo. The scheduled starters for the game are Dennis Cook for Wichita and Danny Levy for Kalamazoo.
