Reno Graybirds starter Paul Baker pitched a strong game against the Honolulu Waterspouts at Coconuts Park, leading the Graybirds to a 7-0 win. Ken Brown finished the game for Reno and earned his 1st save. Reno goes to 34-36. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.

Danny Hernandez chipped in for Reno, stroking a crucial run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-3 with a hit by pitch.

"We had a nice day," said Reno skipper Kenny MacDonald.
