Wildcats Turn Back Kalamazoo, 4-2
|
Haggar Pants Park was the site of a competitive game between the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo and Savannah Wildcats.
Savannah starter Joe Strange pitched effectively against the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo at Haggar Pants Park. The right-hander led his team to a 4-2 win. The Wildcats bumped their record to 39-32 with this latest triumph.
The Wildcats beat the Hullabaloo in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Ronnie Moore produced in the bottom of the third. Batting against Kalamazoo pitcher Neil Moss, Moore gave his team a 4-1 lead when he hit a 3-run home run.
Strange told a Savannah Gazette reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
