Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Daryl Prince, the Kalamazoo Hullabaloo defeated the Des Moines Pharaohs, 8-3. Prince went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Hullabaloo. Leo Rojas got the win, improving to 10-3. He worked 9 innings, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. At 54-19, Kalamazoo is in first place in the United League Central Division.

Prince came through with some timely hitting for Kalamazoo. With the score 1-0 in the top of the third and no one down, Prince hit a 1-1 cutter for a 2-run home run. His 11th home run of the season made it 3-0, Kalamazoo.
