C Freeman Lights Up Platoon for 5 RBIs as Tempest Tie League Championship Series
The New Haven Tempest relied on the hitting of catcher Ryan Freeman to get by the Saskatoon Platoon, 8-2, in Game 2 of the League Championship Series today. For the game, Freeman slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5. The clubs are now tied, 1-1.

Freeman's nice game included a clutch grand slam home run in the bottom of the first.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said New Haven manager Brandon Eberle.

The next game is set to be played on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 at Labatt Blue Field. Slated to start are Philip Lundholm for New Haven and Brendan Powell for Saskatoon.
