Tempest Heading to World Series
The New Haven Tempest will continue the trek towards a World Series title, while the Saskatoon Platoon are headed home for the season.

New Haven won the League Championship Series with a clinching game 5-2 victory at Labatt Blue Field, concluding the series at 4-1.

"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Bubba Hurst said after officially being named series MVP.

He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .583 batting average, .615 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 4 RBI and 6 runs scored.

The New Haven Tempest will play against the Anchorage Ice Sox in the next round. Anchorage won their series against the Tallahassee Tyrants 4 games to 1. The World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
