Tempest Cruise to League Championship Series with Sweep
It was a sweet sweep for the New Haven Tempest as they eased past the Honolulu Waterspouts to advance to the League Championship Series.

New Haven won the final game by a 11-5 count and the series 3-0.

"We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Ryan Freeman, who was named series MVP.

For the series, Freeman hit .667 with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 3 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The New Haven Tempest don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Saskatoon Platoon - Toledo Cheesepressers series. Saskatoon leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
