Warlocks Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 2-0
Despite a great performance by New Haven catcher Ryan Freeman, the Wichita Warlocks defeated the Tempest by the score of 8-6 at Flagship Field today. Freeman was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI to earn player of the game honors, but could not prevent the Warlocks from moving one game closer to the League Championship Series. Wichita now leads the Division Series 2-0.

Pat De Lorenzo aided the Wichita cause with a 2-run single in the top of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"We came out aggressive," said Warlocks manager Eddie Butler. "We came out swinging the bats."

The next game is set to be played on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at Propel Fitness Water Field. Slated to start are Dan Hindes for the Tempest and Josh Meadows for the Warlocks.
