Hullabaloo Get Past Cheesepressers 6-3 to Open Division Series

Leave it to the veteran.
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo got a great start from 34-year-old right-hander Phil Ross, who earned player of the game honors today as Kalamazoo won the contest 6-3 at Velveeta Field. Ross threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball in the win, which allowed the Kalamazoo to grab a 1-0 lead in the best-of-5 series.
Mike Wagoner, who is a four-time All-Star, aided the Kalamazoo cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth. For the game, the third baseman went 1-4 with a double, while scoring 2 runs.
"It feels good, just a great win all around," Ross said after the game.
Game 2 is scheduled for Monday, October 13th, 2025 at Velveeta Field. Slated to start are Phil Ross for the Hullabaloo and R.J. Fallon for the Cheesepressers.
