Thunder Bay Takes Series Lead in Low-Scoring Affair
With starter Andy Horwood leading the charge, the Thunder Bay Corsairs defeated the Toledo Cheesepressers, 3-2, in Game 3 of the World Series today. The right-hander threw 7 innings of 5-hit ball at Dr. Thunderdome to help Thunder Bay take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Thunder Bay took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With no one out, center fielder Jamie Bailey hit a solo home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"It feels good to get that win," said Bailey. "Now it's on to the next one."

The next game is scheduled for Sunday, November 2nd, 2025 at Dr. Thunderdome. The scheduled starters for the game are R.J. Fallon for the Cheesepressers and Justin Endicott for the Corsairs.
