Bulldogs Get 5-3 Win Versus Toledo
|
The Topeka Bulldogs got a rain-soaked win over the Toledo Cheesepressers at Velveeta Field.
Topeka Bulldogs starter Wes Goetz was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Toledo Cheesepressers, 5-3. Eduardo Giron was called on to finish, recording his 10th save.
Early in the game, shortstop Eric Brannen had a run-scoring double for Topeka. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Bulldogs on top, 1-0.
"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Brannen said (again).
The 'W' lifts Topeka's record to 45-33.
