Thunder Bay starter Justin Endicott pitched effectively against the Honolulu Waterspouts at Dr. Thunderdome. The left-hander led his team to a 5-4 win. At 38-40, Thunder Bay is in first place in the Patriot League North Division.
With a runner on 1st and one out in the bottom of the sixth inning, center fielder Jamie Bailey delivered big for the Corsairs. Thunder Bay was leading 3-0 when he belted a 2-run home run.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Honolulu manager Claribette Del Rosario. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
