Bulldogs Raise Rally Flag, Beat Toledo, 2-1

The Topeka Bulldogs got a magnificent effort from pitcher Bob Morse, who kept Toledo hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Bulldogs win at Lenscrafters 20/20 Park. Topeka reliever Jamie Schmidt got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Marshall Pazar was tagged with the loss. Topeka now owns a record of 47-32.
Topeka won the game in the bottom of the ninth inning. With one out and Marshall Pazar on the mound for Toledo, catcher Juan Torres hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Bulldogs fans to their feet.
Morse described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.
