Riding the 2-hit performance of the former first round draft pick Jared McLaughlin, the Honolulu Waterspouts stopped the Anchorage Ice Sox, 12-2. With the win, Honolulu has a record of 35-44. Anchorage falls to 33-46.
One important at-bat for Honolulu came with no one out in the bottom of the first inning. With the bases loaded, McLaughlin drew a walk, driving in 1 run, which contributed to the Waterspouts win.
