Hullabaloo Bridle Fighting Beetles, 4-2

The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo topped the Tucson Fighting Beetles, 4-2, in United League action at The Zoo. The player of the game was Kalamazoo pitcher and Anderson, South Carolina native Phil Ross. Ross went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 7. His record improves to 8-5. Devon Pavese, credited with the save, is now 22 for 25 in save opportunities.
The Hullabaloo got a big at-bat from second baseman Matt McGrogan. For the game, McGrogan went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Kalamazoo a 2-1 lead.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said McGrogan.
Kalamazoo improves to 60-22 with the win. They lead their division by 23 games.
