Kingfishers Need Extras to Top Cheesepressers
Corpus Christi third baseman Eric Stevens had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 5-3 win over the Toledo Cheesepressers. The win was Brad Bluske's in relief. His record improves to 3-1. Alonzo Galindo took the loss for Toledo. Corpus Christi is now riding a 4-game win streak.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the tenth inning. With no one out, Raul Quezada hit a full count fastball from Alonzo Galindo for a run-scoring single. It put Corpus Christi in front, 4-3.

"Good win for us, tough loss for them," said Quezada.
