The Reno Graybirds got a good effort from starter Paul Baker in defeating the Honolulu Waterspouts at Coconuts Park. The final score was 4-1. Tony Alfaro converted his 13th save in 17 tries. Reno is now riding a 3-game win streak.

Jean-Claude Pineau had a big 2-run home run for the Graybirds in the top of the fourth inning. With Reno leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Seth Adkins and stroked the home run to left. It was his 13th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Graybirds ahead, 4-0.

In postgame comments to the Reno Citizen, Pineau said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
