Fighting Beetles Suffer 8-3 Loss to Hullabaloo
|
Kalamazoo right-hander Leo Rojas pitched his team to victory over the Tucson Fighting Beetles at The Zoo. The final score was 8-3. Rojas, now 6-6, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 8, walking 2, and allowing 1 earned run. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Hullabaloo.
Matt McGrogan contributed to the Kalamazoo win. The 27-year old second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, McGrogan was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
