|
Wichita designated hitter Matthew Freeman had a good game, even if his team did not. The Warlocks dropped a 6-3 decision to Kalamazoo at Propel Fitness Water Field. Freeman went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Miguel Olea got credit for the win, improving to 5-3. He allowed 3 runs on 8 hits in 6.1 innings. The second-place Hullabaloo have won 5 in a row.
Matt McGrogan, who is rated as the 18th best prospect by BNN, aided the Kalamazoo cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 singles.
