Cranford Helps Platoon Run Win Streak to 3
Platoon left fielder Garrett Cranford put his stamp on his team's 10-5 win over the Honolulu Waterspouts. Cranford was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Saskatoon in the contest. Saskatoon starter Branden Peterson was credited with the win after throwing 81 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 11-2. The Platoon improved to a lofty 61-25.

Cranford put Saskatoon up, 8-1, when he hit a 3-run home run off Ryan LaVoie in the bottom of the sixth. His 31st home run of the season helped the Platoon capture the win.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Cranford.
