In a low-scoring clash between Honolulu and Corpus Christi, pitcher Ryan Grosso was a difference-maker. The right-hander earned player of the game honors for Honolulu in the 3-2 win. Honolulu is now 54-38, Corpus Christi 43-49.

Aaron Thomas drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate for Honolulu. The 27-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring walk off Kody Mann. It was his 33rd walk of the season.
