Multi-HR Day for Casselman as Waterspouts Overpower Graybirds, 5-3
|
The Honolulu Waterspouts beat the Reno Graybirds, 5-3, at Harris Interactive Arena. Honolulu second baseman Steve Casselman earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Lorenzo Sierra notched his 24th save in 27 chances. The Waterspouts move to 50-44 with the win, while the Graybirds drop to 55-38.
Casselman had a big at-bat with a runner on 1st in the top of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Waterspouts went on to win.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Casselman.
