Bucci Goes Wild, But Waterspouts Win
Jon Bucci did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Reno Graybirds from losing, 12-6, to the Honolulu Waterspouts at Harris Interactive Arena. Bucci went 2 for 2 with a home run, a triple, and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. The Waterspouts improved to 51-44.

The Waterspouts got a big at-bat from catcher David Weiss. For the game, Weiss went 2-5 with 2 singles. In the top of the eighth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 89th hit of the season gave Honolulu a 6-5 lead.

Weiss told a Honolulu Citizen reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
