Idahosies Top Tempest to Even Record

Getting a good performance from second baseman Greg Plummer, the Boise Idahosies defeated the New Haven Tempest, 10-2. Plummer went 2-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for the Idahosies. Arturo Gonzalez got the win, improving to 10-9. He held the Tempest to 1 earned run on 5 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 7 and walking 3. With the win, Boise has a record of 46-46. New Haven falls to 59-33.
Plummer had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 3rd in the bottom of the sixth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Idahosies went on to win.
New Haven manager Brandon Eberle called the blowout loss "a real stinker."
