A 4-RBI performance from the eight-time All-Star Tim Penton helped the Saskatoon Platoon beat the New Haven Tempest, 8-3. The Platoon now have a record of 42-52.

Ed Duron, who is a three-time All-Star, aided the Saskatoon cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the third. For the game, the catcher went 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Penton said after the game.
