Waterspouts Solve Graybirds, 6-2

Honolulu Waterspouts starter Ryan Grosso kept the Reno Graybirds hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. Honolulu has a 5-game win streak, while Reno has lost 5 in a row.
The Waterspouts beat the Graybirds in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out home run Dennis Anderson produced in the bottom of the third. Batting against Reno pitcher Mark Koenig, Anderson gave his team a 2-0 lead when he hit a 2-run home run.
"Ryan was throwing strikes, locating well," said Honolulu manager Claribette Del Rosario.
