Knights Bang Out 7-2 Win Versus Honolulu
Havana Knights starter George Adams turned in a top-notch performance against the Honolulu Waterspouts at Montecristo Field. The result was a win for the Knights, 7-2. Adams got the win, improving to 7-10. He allowed 5 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. Adams allowed 1 earned run. Dan Lily converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

Shawn Lafferty was a key contributor to the win for the Knights. In the bottom of the third with one out, the light-hitting right fielder stroked a single to right. He went 1 for 2 with 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Adams said.

With the win, Havana has a record of 43-54. Honolulu falls to 44-53.
