Honolulu third baseman Bubba Miller played a vital role in his team's 14-5 triumph over Wichita. He went 3-6 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for Honolulu. Travis Covey, the winner, improved to 6-6. He held the Warlocks to 5 earned runs on 6 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 1. The Waterspouts improve their record to 56-49 with the win over Wichita.

Miller had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the bottom of the fourth, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Waterspouts went on to win.
