Late Rally by Knights Secures Win
|
The Havana Knights topped the Honolulu Waterspouts, 3-2, in United League action at Montecristo Field. The player of the game was Havana pitcher and Manchester, Tennessee native Joe Hollister. Havana reliever Gabriel Aybar picked up the win to move to 4-5. Alejandro Santos suffered the loss. Jason Slater earned his 21st save in 24 chances.
A.J. Arbogast aided the Havana cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder was 1 for 3, while adding 2 RBI.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Arbogast.
At 44-54, the Knights are currently third in the United League Atlantic Division.
