Reno Graybirds starter Aaron Vigil was in fine form against the New Haven Tempest at Harris Interactive Arena, leading his team to a 2-0 win. Tony Alfaro finished to wrap up his 18th save. Reno's record now stands at 46-53, placing them third in the United League West Division.

Reno took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 2nd, Jean-Claude Pineau hit a run-scoring single to make it 1-0, Graybirds.

Vigil called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
