Hullabaloo Prevail, 5-3, Over Corpus Christi
|
The Kalamazoo Hullabaloo beat the Corpus Christi Kingfishers, 5-3, at Fallow Field. The win was largely due to the efforts of third baseman Mike Wagoner, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. The Hullabaloo now have a record of 56-46 with the win over Corpus Christi.
In the top of the second inning, second baseman Matt McGrogan came through big-time for the Hullabaloo. With Kalamazoo leading 1-0, he belted a 2-run home run.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," McGrogan told the Kalamazoo Gazette.
