Quinn Whitewashes Waterspouts
John Quinn kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the New Haven Tempest were all smiles after winning 2-0 against the Honolulu Waterspouts at Coconuts Park today. The left-handed Quinn gave up no runs in his start, permitted 2 hits and had 7 strikeouts.

"If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Quinn said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."

To date this season Quinn is 13-3 with 22 starts and an ERA of 1.81 with 223 strikeouts in 168.2 innings.
