Cheesepressers Throttle Waterspouts, 5-1

The Toledo Cheesepressers downed the Honolulu Waterspouts, 5-1, at Coconuts Park. The Cheesepressers were led by Bobby Ware, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Gerardo Tenorio sewed up the save, his 3rd. The Cheesepressers own a robust 65-38 mark.
Rich LaBelle delivered a big hit for the Cheesepressers. The veteran first baseman belted a solo home run in the top of the eighth. The longball put Toledo on top, 3-1. Overall, LaBelle was 1-4 with a home run.
"I like our moxie," said Cheesepressers manager Matt Perrone.
