Cheesepressers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Warlocks
The Toledo Cheesepressers beat the Wichita Warlocks, 7-6, at Propel Fitness Water Field. Toledo center fielder Tatsumi Irie earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 3-4 with a triple, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 runs. Chris Honeycutt finished the game for Toledo and earned his 1st save. It was the 8th win in 11 games this year for the defending champion Cheesepressers, who are picking up where they left off.

A crucial at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd and two out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when catcher Bob Hauser reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run. The Cheesepressers went on to win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Hauser said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
