Dennis Anderson had a good game, but he could not keep the Honolulu Waterspouts from falling, 8-7, to the Tucson Fighting Beetles at Kmart Park. The Honolulu shortstop was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 in the loss. Tucson has now won 3 straight, while the Waterspouts have lost 3 in a row.

Alfredo Montanez drove in one run for Tucson. In the bottom of the eighth, with the teams deadlocked, 7-7, Montanez delivered for the Fighting Beetles. His run-scoring sacrifice fly put Tucson on top, 8-7.

"I'm just happy to help the team win," Montanez told the Tucson Herald.
