Waterspouts Suffer 7-4 Loss to Platoon
|
The Saskatoon Platoon downed the Honolulu Waterspouts, 7-4, at Labatt Blue Field. Andrew Orr led the way, going 2-for-3 for Saskatoon. Ryan Elliott earned the save, his 23rd. Saskatoon bumps their record to 64-46 with the win.
In the bottom of the first, Kevin Huston hit a 2-run home run for Saskatoon. The 33rd home run of the season for the Saskatoon right fielder put the Platoon on top, 3-1.
"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Huston. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
